The sealing ball seat is used to temporarily seal the pipe column below the hydraulic packer by throwing a ball into the oil pipe. After the ball lands on the ball seat, hydraulic pressure is applied to the tubing to complete the setting of the packer. After the sealing is completed, increase the pressure to shoot down the ball seat, and the ball and seat will fall into the well or into the bottom of the pipe column's sieve tube or perforated pipe.
